The National Center for Biosafety and Biosecurity (NCBB) was awarded a Silver Plaque of Recognition during the Regional Integrated Awarding Ceremony organized by the Department of Health – Center for Health Development (DOH CHD) CALABARZON on December 10, 2025, at Hotel Casiana in Tagaytay City.
With the theme “Bayanihan para sa Kalusugan, Pagpupugay sa Sama-samang Tagumpay ng CALABARZON,” the ceremony recognized outstanding institutions and partners for their significant contributions to public health initiatives and the strengthening of health systems in the region.
The Silver Plaque of Recognition was received by Mr. Jan Mickaele M. De Leon, NCBB Program Manager. The award underscores the Center’s continued commitment to biosafety and biosecurity, as well as its vital role in supporting national and regional health programs.
The event brought together health leaders, partner institutions, and stakeholders across CALABARZON, celebrating collective achievements made possible through collaboration and shared dedication to advancing public health.
